Are you open?
Yes! There are so many ways to game with us:
- You can play our indoor games in-person at our venue,
- You can explore our self-guided outdoor adventures
- You can talk to your workplace about our large group on-site team building events!
What's it like?
Picture this:
You’re locked in an abandoned log cabin along with a small team of friends, family, or coworkers. The countdown shows 60 minutes remaining. You look around the room: a fireplace; a village map; an antique grandfather clock. What does it all mean? You can only hope that by working together, solving puzzle after puzzle, your team will find a way out soon. The clock is ticking…
Who can play?
Eligibility:
For safety and due to the abstract reasoning required, we cannot accept any guests under 10 years old. Players aged 10-14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult; and all minors (ages 10-17) must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Our basement-level venue is accessible by stairs only — there is no elevator access. Some puzzles require dexterity or sensory acuity to solve and may not be suitable for persons with limited mobility or sensory perception. For details or special circumstances, please contact us — we will always do our best to accommodate.
Are there different games to choose from?
Yes!
You can explore an ancient Crypt (up to 5 players), pull off a heist in The Double-Cross (up to 6), press your luck in The Game Show (up to 8), or hide from a werewolf in Before Moonrise (up to 8). Teams can also unlock the secrets of time travel (year round), compete in a Battle of the Bands, or chase a time-criminal in one of our exciting new outdoor games.
How much are tickets?
Affordable! Buy them here!
Ticket prices have changed recently due to our decision to make all games private. Most of our games start at $84 per team, but the actual cost to you will depend on your team size, game format, etc. To see current pricing for the game and team size you’d like to book for, check out our Tickets page. Customizable gift vouchers are also available in $50 increments here.
Is it scary? What about safety?
Safety is our priority:
Our games may have some thrilling moments, but they are not inherently scary. They are also 100% safe: you will not actually be locked in, so you can leave any time you’d like, even if you’re just feeling uncomfortable or need to use the restroom. Our entire staff is CPR/AED and First Aid certified, and we do our best to put new players ease. Our best-lit and “friendliest” game for beginners is The Double-Cross. Can my team size exceed the listed capacity?
The short answer is no, we’re afraid not.
All of our indoor games list a maximum number of players, as well as a recommended team size. The maximum capacity listed for each indoor game already takes into account the absolute highest number of persons that can safely be in that game at once. The recommended team sizes, however, are carefully chosen ranges that we feel optimize fun and comfort for every player.
Our outdoor adventures are booked per game, not per person, so it is possible (but not recommended!) to play with a group of any size, though the booking system will still require you to choose a number between 1 and 5.
Can we bring food and drink?
Food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed inside the lobby but not allowed inside any of our games rooms. Lobby space and time is limited, so regular reservations are not able to set up snack/beverage stations for their teams. If you have a larger group, want more time inside the lobby and the ability to set up a snack/beverage station, consider renting out the entire venue!
Do you sell gift cards?
Absolutely!
Our gift vouchers, sold in increments of $50, can be bought right here. They come with a voucher code, a redemption link, and customizable graphics & text, and can be printed or sent as an e-card. There is also a form on the Gift Cards page where you can request a handmade version to be sent to you at no extra cost.
What about large groups? Parties? Team-building?
Rent the entire venue OR let us bring the game to you!
Our venue can host up to 27 players across our four different escape rooms for a private event. If you don’t see a Venue Rental time that suits you on our Tickets page, feel free to contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We also have three epic mega-games, where we bring the fun to you! These large group on-site events are designed for 24-240 players and feature elements of cooperation, competition, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making based on limited information, and of course, puzzling!
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Cancellations:
As with a show or concert, our games start at specific times and capacity is limited. However, we understand that schedule changes do happen. Refund/credit will depend on how far in advance you let us know that your plans have changed. Let us know by contacting us, either by phone or by e-mail. Here’s our policy for all ticket changes/cancellations:
- >48 hours’ notice: Full booking credit toward a future game, or a full refund minus a 5% credit card processing fee
- 24-48 hours’ notice: Full booking credit toward a future game (no refund available)
- <24 hours’ notice: No refund or rebooking available
- To encourage players to help us keep our venue virus-free, we are currently waiving the notice requirements on all changes/cancellations related to known or suspected cases of COVID-19.
